ZHX Image Grabber

Collect every image on a web page without right-click-saving one by one — including images that only appear on scroll, ones inserted via CSS, or images from sites that restrict access.

Why we built it

Many sites store images in ways that make them hard to grab one at a time: images only appear after you scroll (lazy-loading), images inserted via CSS background-image so they don't register as normal images, or sites that deliberately disable right-click-save. ZHX Image Grabber removes the manual work — just open the page, click, and every image matching your criteria is collected for you to pick and download.

What it can do

Thorough Scanning<img> tags, lazy-load, srcset/<picture>, CSS background-image, even <canvas>
Automatic Auto-ScrollDetects and scrolls on its own, stops once it reaches the end
Live PreviewResults appear one by one, no need to wait for the scan to finish
Size FilteringSet minimum width/height to skip icons and decorative elements
Download One-by-One or ZIPSelect the images you want, download individually or all at once
Custom FilenamesTemplate with domain, page title, size, alt text, or date
Per-Site Presets & HistoryFilters you've set are automatically remembered per domain
Hotlink Protection BypassDownloads still succeed on sites that restrict image access

⚠️ Good to know

  • Doesn't work on internal Chrome pages (chrome://), the Chrome Web Store, or the browser's built-in PDF viewer — a Chrome limitation, not the extension's.
  • Images captured from <canvas> in your history are stored only as small previews, not full resolution — download them directly while the scan is running instead.
  • Some images use deliberately short-lived signed URLs, which may already be expired if downloaded later from history.
  • This is a generic tool for images that are reasonably accessible on a page — it's not built to bypass deliberate anti-scraping protections on official paid, licensed content.

Privacy

All scanning and downloading happens directly in your browser — no data is ever sent to a ZHX Labs server. Settings like filename templates and filter presets are stored in your own Chrome account storage.
